Types of crooked presses

Preparatory stage of work
Specificity of work and weight and size characteristics of crank presses impose increased responsibility on the preparatory stage of works on installation, dismantling and rigging of this type of equipment. In order to avoid unwanted problems and unforeseen costs in the future, it is necessary at the initial stage to study the product passport in detail, make sure the quality of the unit, the absence of damage during transportation, as well as during its storage immediately before installation. No less attention is paid to the study of the plan of an industrial building, in which it is planned to carry out work on the installation or dismantling of a crank press, collecting information on available capacities and activities necessary for the work, as well as drawing up executive documentation for the installation of a press or PPR for the installation of a press. Only after the parties have signed an exhaustive package of documents can the installation, dismantling or rigging of the crank press begin.

REMONT OF THE WRONG PRESS
As part of the repair of the crank press, the customer receives all the failed press equipment in the process of operation and components to be replaced. The presence of a special tool, portal systems, technical documentation, spare parts and extensive experience allow the specialists of Sintez TMK to avoid errors and problems possible during dismantling, rigging, repair and subsequent installation of crank presses.
The procedure of overhaul of the crank press includes a whole range of mandatory and even wider list of recommended works. It all begins with a detailed inspection of the unit with the preparation of defective statements of equipment in terms of completeness of its mechanical part and electrical equipment. After that, a complete dismantling of all the nodal elements of the press is carried out. Parts of the machinery are cleaned and washed. This is followed by the stage of defects, control and sorting of press parts – the question of the feasibility of restorative repair and replacement of parts is solved (often failed units have to be made according to individual drawings). The surfaces of tables, flywheels, stanzas, sliders and other base nodes are treated accordingly. New bronze liners and bushings are made for the capital restoration of the nodes. New sliding and rolling bearings are being installed. Elements in lubrication systems are necessarily changed. After the completion of the repair work, a mandatory set of commissioning tests is performed: press installation, press connection, setting the required standards for the accuracy of the slider, press test run-in, control of accuracy standards, unit painting.
FUNDAMENT Requirements
Crooked presses can arrive at the site both in full factory readiness, canned, and individual elements (assembly elements – tsargas). Special attention is paid by the specialists of our company to the stage of transportation of the press or its parts from the territory of the manufacturer to the installation site. This process is divided into several technological stages: the delivery of equipment by the plant, loading on transport, unloading and temporary storage until the final installation of the press on the foundation. During each stage, the condition of the equipment is monitored for no damage, the completion of work is recorded by acts with the mandatory signatures of specialists from both the handing over and the receiving party.
Taking into account the weight and size parameters of crank presses and the specifics and work performed by them, special attention is paid even before installing these units to the installation of the foundation for them, which is made of reinforced concrete of high grades with mandatory control of the geometry of press attachment points. In the event that the facility already has a foundation for crank press, or if the work on its construction was performed by another organization, the specialists of Sintez TMK will perform a set of works to check it, and if necessary, laboratory studies of the foundation material for compliance with the declared strength characteristics.
Installation of crooked press
Installation and dismantling of the crank press is carried out both on free sites and in operating production conditions, using special equipment for mechanization, as well as heavy construction cranes with a large arrow departure. Specialists of the company “Sintez TMK” will make a task for installation, conduct surveys, perform design, develop RRP, transport, perform construction and installation work, conduct acceptance tests, issue executive documentation and put the facility into operation.

One of our company’s projects was to move the press working in the United States to a Russian industrial enterprise.
