      • steel springs allow large static elastic movements (up to 350 mm), therefore, with the help of springs, very low frequencies of the vibration-insulated installation can be obtained;
      • springs can be precisely calculated and constructed to obtain any given (linear and nonlinear) characteristic;
      • They can work at different temperatures, the creep of steel springs is negligible.
