An industrial pumping station is a complex system whose main and only task is to pump various liquids from one place to another. As a rule, the pumping station is located inside the building, however, it is allowed to install the pumping station and outside the capital industrial buildings, when working with non-freezing liquids.
Any pumping station (with slight variations in the final composition) usually includes: a pumping group consisting of at least one main and one backup pump; shut-off valves (plugs, return valves, locks, switchgears, pressure and suction collectors, flanges); a tank park (main and hydraulic accumulators); control and measuring equipment and an automatic control cabinet.
The main application of industrial pumping stations is found in water supply, sewerage, fire extinguishing systems, as well as in oil and gas fields, in the food and chemical industry. In addition, high-capacity pumping stations are used in irrigation to remove excess water from large areas, as well as as as integral infrastructure facilities that ensure stable and safe locking of river and sea vessels. Accordingly, depending on the purpose, pumping stations can pump technical water, oils, drinking water, petroleum products and other liquids.Pumping stations can be block or prefabricated. The first, as a rule, are mounted in a block container and already include all the necessary engineering systems (heating, ventilation, lighting, fire extinguishing), pumps, pipe fittings, automation and some additional equipment. Installation of block pumping stations by and large consists in their installation on the foundation and connection to highways and communications. In turn, the prefabricated pumping station, as the name suggests, is assembled from various elements at the installation site, which requires additional labor.
Preparatory stage of installation of pumping stations
The preparatory stage for the installation of pumping stations consists in studying the drawings of industrial facilities, passports of pumping equipment, factory instructions and technical conditions. Also, before the start of installation or rigging of pumping stations, the specialists of Sintez TMK perform the development of PPR.
Requirements for installation of pumping stations
Due to the significant weight, dimensions of the units and assemblies, the installation and rigging of pumping stations, as well as previous work, must be carried out in strict accordance with the provisions specified in the technical documentation of the pump manufacturer. Technical specifications (TU) for connection to in-house engineering networks, the project of their placement, as well as updated versions of the following regulatory documents: SP 48.13330.2011 “Construction Organization”, SNIP 3.01.03-84 “Geodetic works in construction”, SNIP 3.03.01-87 “Carrying and enclosing structures”.
After drawing up and signing the certificate of equipment readiness for installation, you can go directly to the installation of the pumping station.
Installation, rigging of pumping stations
The following manipulations (enlarged): geodetic breakdown of the pumping station on the ground, a fragment of the pit under the foundation of the pumping station, the device of a monolithic foundation plate, the installation of pumping equipment and tanks on the foundation stove and, finally, the connection of pipelines to the pumping station.
The efficiency and speed of installation of an industrial pumping station is largely determined by the special equipment and means of mechanization used for work and, in particular, from the installed cranes. The choice of a specific crane for the installation of a pumping station depends on the geometric dimensions, weight and design location of the pumps. As a rule, for the installation of pumping equipment, wheeled car cranes with a carrying capacity of 25 tons and a boom departure of up to 22 meters are used. The exact brand of the crane is determined in the CRP.
Installation (dismantling) of pumping stations is carried out both on free (open) sites, and in the conditions of operating industries in already existing industrial buildings in cramped conditions. Specialists of the company “Sintez TMK” will make a task for installation or dismantling, will conduct an examination, perform design, develop RRP, transport, perform construction and installation work, conduct acceptance tests, issue executive documentation and put the pumping station into operation. The cost of work is strictly individual.
Maintenance of pumping stations
If necessary, specialists of Sintez TMK can carry out regular maintenance of pumping stations and their overhaul.
The complex of works usually includes an external inspection of the nodes and assemblies of the station for the absence of damage, dirt, corrosion, leaks, etc.; monitoring the pressure and water level in the tank, checking the operability of the locking valve; monitoring the main and backup power sources, checking the automatic switching of power from the working input to the backup; checking the operability of the main components of the pumping station; cleaning the nodes and assemblies from dust and dirt; checking the operability of the pumping station in all modes available for it; checking the serviceability of the level of the tank; checking the condition of the locking valves; testing of electrical resistance;
Company Synthesis TMK. He has unique experience in carrying out works on installation of pumping stations, as well as moving the tank fleet in a short time in the conditions of existing production. By ordering the service of installation, dismantling and rigging of pumping stations in our company, you are guaranteed to receive high-quality service and save yourself from the need to eliminate the consequences of an unprofessional attitude to the case.
