In-house gas pipeline – this is a diversion up to 100 m long for gas transportation within one shop, wiring pipes to equipment, a workshop collector and diversions from it to consumers. Unlike the intershop pipeline, this pipeline consists of short sections, and the specific weight of the valves used in it is higher.
Gas is rarely supplied directly to consumers. For this purpose, a shop collector is used, as well as collectors of individual units (boilers, furnaces). The collector is installed for each workshop and supplies gas to neighboring shops rarely. Manifolds with a diameter of up to 500 mm can be installed inside the shop, otherwise mounted outside on the roof or individual supports.
The gas pipeline is built along the walls. It must provide access for monitoring and repair work. The pipeline can be laid in the floor. Then the installation of the intra-shop gas pipeline is made of whole, insulated with bitumen insulation pipes with a minimum number of welds. They are laid in gutters, which are covered with sand and cemented. At the points of entry and exit from the troughs, cases are installed that protrude 3 cm above the floor. The place of laying the channel is closed by a durable removable deck of non-combustible material. If the pipe is to pass through a wall or ceiling, a hole is made in it, into which the cartridge is inserted, having a diameter 10 mm larger than that of the gas pipeline. The gap is filled with asbestos.
Before the installation of the intra-shop gas pipeline, technological equipment is installed. Work begins from aggregates, to join which leave free ends of pipes. Then the nodes and blocks of the gas pipeline are attached to the supports and walls of buildings using brackets, suspensions, consoles, and then connected to the equipment. Fixing gas lines on large vertically installed units is performed before their installation. This will avoid difficult high-rise work.
Installation joints of nodes are pre-connected on hooks or mounting bolts. After installing all sections of the pipeline and checking the correctness of their position and compliance with the slopes, the joints are welded.
After installation, the gas pipeline is inspected and tested for strength, density, tightness. Tests are carried out by a licensed installation organization together with a representative of the customer. Verification of inter-shop and intra-shop gas pipelines is carried out separately. Its order is determined in the project.
For the commissioning of the structure, a commission is created, and if the gas pipeline is designed for a pressure above 0.3 MPa, it should include a representative of the Gostechnadzor.
