Tests of technological equipment and adjustment must be made in preparation for acceptance of mounted equipment. The manufacturer’s passport indicates the order of conduct and composition of tests, recommendations for adjusting the alignment, eliminating noise and vibration.
For pipelines, their suction capacity is determined, the work of compressors, pumps, the purity of ducts is checked. At the time of the test, a permanent or temporary filter should be installed in the pipelines.
Individual tests for units include inspection of electrical systems, measuring instruments, automation. Sanitary and technical equipment is inspected separately.
Schedules for testing equipment are given in the PIC and agreed by all participants in the installation at the preliminary stage. Estimates of installation work take into account the testing of equipment, so they do not require any additional payments. Adjustment is not included in the duties of the installation organization, and the costs of these works are included in the main activity of the enterprise.
The first blank tests are carried out immediately after installation under the supervision of a specialist engineer of the installation organization responsible for them. Next, the load is gradually added, and individual tests continue until the operating mode is reached.
Based on the results of individual tests for the strength and density of pipelines, a report is drawn up, and the general contractor and organizations involved in the installation work sign an act submitted to the working commission, which includes specialists and representatives of the customer. After the commission has inspected the certificate of equipment acceptance, individual tests are considered completed, and a comprehensive test can be carried out. If the acceptance certificate is signed, the responsibility for the equipment passes to the customer, since the installation work is completed.
